CONDITIONS OF SALE
90% of snowdrops are grown in 9cm or 1 litre pots.
Orders will be dated as they are received and are dealth with in strict rotation.
For naming and descriptions of Galanthus we have followed the excellent book, ‘Snowdrops, A Monograph of Cultivated Galanthus’ by Matt Bishop, Aaron Davis and John Grimshaw, published by The Griffin Press.
Whilst every endeavour is made to suply orders placed, no guarantee can be given as crop failures do happen for a variety of reasons. In such instances, a full credit to the chosen method of payment will be applied.
Whilst it is Harveys Garden Plants’ intention to supply flowering size bulbs where possible, occaisonally smaller, but mature (i.e. fullyskinned bulbs) are all that we have available at the time of ordering. If a customer requires flowering size bulbs only, this should be stated on the order, or at the time of ordering (telephone/email/website).
MAIL ORDER
For postage and packaging charges outside the UK please enquire.
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail at £6.50 for the first item plus £0.50 for each item after the first.
Alternatively they can be sent by a next day, signed for, courier service for £11.
Due to a small number of packages going ‘missing’ or being delayed, orders sent by Royal Mail are done so at your own risk and rare bulbs may be irreplacable if lost. Courier service offers a secure, insured delivery service.
Orders are generally dispatched from mid December 2019 onwards, we stop sending orders out just before Christmas ad resume in the following January, this is to prevent them getting stuck in a post office over the holiday period.
PAYMENT
To pay by cheque, please send a limited cheque (i.e. do not fill in the exact amount, but write ‘Amount not to exceed …….’). We can then fill in the amount once we have established how many of the desired snowdrops are available. Alternatively, telepohone or send your credit card details.
We accept all major credit and debit cards except Amex or Diners Club.
